Our commercial print solutions use vegetable-based inks in our offset presses, and water-based inks in our digital sheet-fed presses. These eco-friendly alternatives not only produce vibrant colors but reduce their environmental impact. Our UV LED inkjet large format print devices are also GREENGUARD Gold certified, which certifies them for low chemical emissions and are built to contribute to safer, healthier air.
2. Digital Processes for Waste Reduction
In the digital age, waste reduction is critical. Our adoption of digital printing processes allows us to create precise quantities of materials, eliminating excess and minimizing paper waste. Say goodbye to discarded extras and hello to efficient, on-demand printing.
3. Recyclable Substrates and Materials
We’re proud to offer substrates and materials that are either recyclable or made with recycled content. By sourcing sustainable base materials, we contribute to a circular economy.
4. PrintReleaf: Reforestation for a Better Tomorrow
In August 2023, Gilson became an authorized channel partner for PrintReleaf, our latest initiative to offset the biomass used in the printing process. For every page printed, customers can pledge to plant a tree. Ask your Gilson representative to get started with your very own PrintReleaf dashboard and begin measuring your positive environmental impact in real time.
Signage Recycling Programs: Supporting ESG Goals
In addition to our printing practices, we actively support our customers’ Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. Our signage recycling programs provide a responsible solution for disposing of outdated or unused signs. By recycling materials and minimizing waste, we contribute to a cleaner environment and help our clients achieve their sustainability targets.
