Gilson Graphics is proud to announce Dylan Wagamon as our 2015 Salesperson of the Year. The award was presented to Dylan during our annual sales meeting on September 17 at Arnie’s Bakery & Restaurant.
Gilson’s event invitation for their recent Lunch & Learn event was crowned “Super Cool” by Trish Witkowski of FoldFactory.com, as she featured the design in her “60-Second Super Cool Fold of the Week.” Calling the piece a “Star Iron Cross with Locked Cover”, Trish explains the ins and outs of the design and what makes it special.
Gilson’s Lunch & Learn 2015 Event recently hosted more than 200 guests at their Grand Rapids, Michigan production facility for a morning of exploration and learning sponsored in part by Central Michigan Paper and Mohawk.
Gilson was named the 2015 Best Practices Award Winner in the Self-Promotion category by PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative. The 2015 awards recognize outstanding examples of direct marketing campaigns and collateral management solutions featuring the power and versatility of digital print. Gilson accepted the award at the annual AppForum digital printing and direct marketing conference, May 11-13 at Harrah’s in Las Vegas.
College photoshoots are big business this time of year. In college admissions offices, the arrival of spring brings with it other annual events such as the push for committing students by May 1, allocating budgets for next year, and selecting a photographer to capture outdoor images before students scatter the globe for the summer. Luckily, Gilson has a resource for making a good photoshoot even better.
Gilson first introduced Augmented Reality (A/R) to our customers at our 2013 lunch and learn event, where guest speaker Daniel Dejan from Sappi North America showcased fantastic 3D digital animations that lept from the pages of his workbook titled ‘Print&’. Since then, we’ve shared our expertise and thought-leadership on the subject to many of our clients, and have some really neat examples to show off!
